Terms of Sale and License

1. Purpose

These terms govern the purchase of a license for the Iris Library software (“Iris” or “the Software”) offered on irisplugin.com, and its use. Placing an order means you accept these terms, which you can save or print.

2. Who sells, who publishes

Software publisher: Mehdi Berkati, individual (sole trader), Algeria (“the Publisher”). Contact: contact@irisplugin.com.

Reseller: orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC, formerly Lemon Squeezy LLC), 222 Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84101, United States, acting as the official reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy sells you the license, collects the payment, issues the invoice and collects applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax). Your purchase is therefore also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms, shown at checkout.

The license to use the Software (section 6) is granted to you by the Publisher.

3. The product

Iris Library is an extension (panel) for Adobe Premiere Pro. It lets you connect media folders on your computer, search them, preview files, import or insert them into your project, and search, download and use media from the Pexels and Pixabay stock libraries.

Beta version. Iris is sold as a beta: the Software is under active development, its features evolve and it may contain errors. The product description available on the date of your order applies.

Upcoming features. Features presented as “coming soon” (new stock libraries, whole-computer search, AI search, recommendations) describe the roadmap. They are not part of the product on the date of your order and no release date is guaranteed. When released, they will be included in your license as updates (section 7).

4. Price and payment

The beta license costs €29 excluding taxes. Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) are calculated by Lemon Squeezy based on your country and added before payment. The total amount is displayed before you confirm your order.

This is a one-time payment: no subscription, no automatic renewal. Available payment methods are those offered by Lemon Squeezy at checkout (for example card or PayPal, depending on your country).

The beta offer is limited to 10 licenses for this opening. The price may change for future sales; the price you paid is final and you will never be asked to pay more for your license.

5. Order and delivery

You place an order by clicking a purchase button, which opens Lemon Squeezy’s secure checkout. The contract is formed when payment is confirmed.

Delivery is instant and digital: Lemon Squeezy emails you your receipt, your license key and your download link. They also remain available in Lemon Squeezy’s customer area. If you receive nothing within 24 hours (check your spam folder), write to support@irisplugin.com.

6. License

6.1 Scope. The Publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Iris on up to 2 computers at the same time, for personal or professional projects, including commercial ones (for example edits for your clients).

6.2 Term. The license is perpetual (“lifetime”): it has no expiry date and requires no subscription. It remains valid as long as you comply with these terms.

6.3 Activation. Activation requires an internet connection. Iris then periodically checks the license online; after a successful check it works for up to 14 days offline. You can deactivate the license on one computer to activate it on another.

6.4 Not allowed. Reselling, renting, lending, sharing or publishing your license key; bypassing or modifying the licensing system; redistributing the Software; decompiling or disassembling it, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.

6.5 Ownership. You acquire a right of use, not ownership of the Software, which remains the Publisher’s property.

6.6 Deactivation. In case of serious breach of these terms (key sharing or resale, fraud), the Publisher may deactivate the license concerned after notifying you by email.

7. Updates

All Iris Library updates (fixes, improvements and new features) are included for free for beta license holders, for the whole life of the product. They are made available for download; installing them is up to you.

Should Iris ever be discontinued, the Publisher would notify you by email in advance and make its best efforts to keep your version working.

8. Beta and feedback

Your feedback (bugs, feature ideas, stock libraries you’d like) is strongly encouraged and can be sent to support@irisplugin.com. It is not a condition of your license. By sending it, you allow the Publisher to use it freely to improve Iris, without compensation.

9. Compatibility and requirements

Iris requires Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 or 2026 (versions 25.x or 26.x) with a valid Adobe license (not included), a Windows or macOS system supported by your Premiere Pro version, and an internet connection for activation, license checks and stock libraries.

Check your setup before buying and contact support@irisplugin.com if in doubt. Adobe may change Premiere Pro and its extension system: the Publisher will make its best efforts to keep Iris compatible with new versions, but cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party software that doesn’t exist yet.

10. Third-party content and services

Media from Pexels, Pixabay or other libraries remains subject to the licenses of those platforms and their authors. Iris shows where each file comes from, but grants you no rights over that content: it is up to you to check that your use is allowed (for example with identifiable people, brands or protected works).

These third-party services may change, limit or stop their access (APIs, quotas); the Publisher cannot guarantee their availability.

11. Withdrawal and refunds

Whatever your country, you can get a full refund of your license within 14 days of purchase, with no justification, under the refund policy. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal, and does not limit them.

12. Warranties and liability

You benefit from the statutory warranties applicable in your country. Beyond them, as Iris is a beta, the Publisher does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep backups of your projects and media.

To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license, and the Publisher is not liable for indirect damages (loss of data, revenue or time). These limits do not apply in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, personal injury, or where the law prohibits them.

13. Support

Support is provided by email at support@irisplugin.com, as quickly as possible, usually within 2 business days. Never send passwords or bank details by email.

14. Personal data

The data processed for the sale, the license and support is described in the privacy policy.

15. Intellectual property and trademarks

The Iris Library name, its logo, the Software and this website belong to the Publisher. Adobe and Premiere Pro are registered trademarks of Adobe Inc.; Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation; Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Pexels and Pixabay are trademarks of their respective owners. Iris Library is an independent product, not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by these companies.

16. Changes to these terms

The Publisher may update these terms. The version you accepted when ordering applies to that order. No change will reduce the rights you acquired (lifetime license, included updates) without your consent.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Algerian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection granted by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

If something goes wrong, email support@irisplugin.com first: we almost always find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts. Payment-related questions are also governed by Lemon Squeezy’s terms.
